Instructions for the Daily Announcements

1. Click on the Administration & Faculty link.

2. Click on System Login

3. Enter Your Login ID And Password, then click Login.

4. On the Main Menu Click on Daily Announcements.

5. To add a new announcement Click on Add Announcement.

6.Enter the Start Date, End Date, Title, and the announcement in the Extra Info text area. Click Save Record to save the announcement.

7. To edit an announcement click on the Title of the announcement from the list of announcements.

8. You can make the needed changes and Save Record or Delete the announcement.

* Note: You may copy and paste information from one announcement to another one.

* Advanced feature: HTML tags work to format the announcements. Here are a few examples.

To make a return you type: Text<BR>.
To make a paragraph return you type: Text<P>.
To make text Bold you type <B>Text</B>.
To Underline text you type: <U>Text</U>.
You can combine tags for example Bold & Underlined and a return you type: <B><U>Text</U></B><BR>. The bold and underlined tags must be nested and have the end tags. The return goes after the text style tags.

9. To Delete an announcement from the list check the announcements you want to delete and Click on the Delete button.

10. When done go to the Main Menu and Logout.

11. Click here to return to the school web site.

12. To Print the Westview Daily Announcements. Click on the Westview Daily Announcements

13. Click on Print Version.

14. Page Setup... Have no header or footer, set to Portrait and set all margins to Zero. Then let it go to the minimum settings and Click OK.

15. To Print select File, Print... and Click Print.
