This teacher's objectives are that students will:
- become and remain independent learners,
- develop skills, abilities, and attitudes enabling them to better understand themselves and their environment
- grasp the special relationship between science and their everyday-life
Everyone's work will be easier if the following rules are respected:
- Students' responsibilities
- recognize and accept responsibility for their attitude, their
words, their actions, their achievements, success and failures
- recognize and respect the rights and properties of other

- apply the major rule of communication: only one person speaks
at one given time
- Teacher' responsibilities
- provide a safe environment conducive of learning.
- provide adequate and updated information in chemistry, physical science and related topics
- reward or sanction students' work and behavior according to merit.
- Tips to avoid troubles
- Make up work (check board) for absent students
- It is your responsibility to get the needed work.
- assignments due on the day of absence are expected on the day the student returns.

- Extra- Help : is available on Thursday after school or any other day of the week by appointment
- Laboratories.
- are an important part of this class.
- must be performed with the observance of all safety guidelines. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.
- students must achieve a perfect score on a laboratory safety exam before being admitted to any lab activity.
- The grade for each quarter will reflect everything the student does, and will be based on:
- tests and quizzes (announced and unannounced)
