The National Honor Society of Manchester High School West challenges its students to develop their leadership potential and to set and uphold ideas of the constitution of the National Honor Society.

We also strive to deepen commitment to pro social values such as personal responsibility, and respect for others. These are essential to leading humane and productive lives in a democratic society.

The association aspires to graduate students who make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and in the spirit of the community and school. Membership in the National Honor Society is both an honor and a responsibility, the association desires earnestly to graduate students who:

• Act Responsibly, and demonstrate the qualities of scholarship,
• Have the capacity to think skillfully and critically, commitment to pro social values such as kindness, helpfulness, and respect for others,
• Demonstrate their school and State citizenship through service,
• Communicate effectively and show leadership on behalf of the organization.
