Hey Key Club,
I am so excited about all the good things we have done this year. From
the spaghetti supper at our school to volunteering at the soup kitchen and
cheerleading competition, I think we are making a powerful difference and I hope
we continue to do so. As always, new
service project ideas are always welcome!
Last week at the officers meeting we discussed some
of our new goals and projects. Dump day was scheduled for the second week of
March, probably the 8th or 9th. This is a really good
opportunity for us to make some money so I hope you can keep your schedule
clear to come help out. Another fundraiser we want to try out is the Shorty’s
Night. Other clubs have done this and earned a lot of money.
The project we have on our hands now is Warm Up America. Everyone will be
knitting sections of a blanket. We will attach all of the pieces together and
create some beautiful knitted blankets.
There is a lot of information on their website: www.warmupamerica.org

I
would like to start a scrapbook for our key club, so if anyone has any pictures
of the club I would appreciate if I could get copies!
