THE 2004 CLASS ODE

It's amazing how time has moved so fast,
For some it was troublesome, others it was a blast.
But we cannot turn back the hands of time,
Some how we all made it here, and you can say "tonight is mine."

We've shared our ups and downs and everything in between,
Even in the toughest of times, there was goodness to be seen.
And soon the world will need us, and that's a must,
Reach out to help one another, like WEST has always taught us.

Some of us will stay close by and others will go,
Where will we all be in 20 years? We just don't know.
But when the sun goes down tonight, have nothing to fear,
Let us all change the world, rather than count every tear.

We will miss the teachers, the building and the halls,
But let's try to love one another instead of putting up walls,
Take a deep breath, share the moment, and seize the day,
Be proud of what you have done here and never look away.

Today is the yesterday that never was
and the tomorrow that never will be.
Let the knowledge we've gathered from WEST guide us like never before,
Because today is our future, and we are the class of two-thousand and four.
