Marine Rep in Cafe

A representative from the Marine Corps. will be in the cafe on Monday, May 12th from periods D through G. Stop by and ask them any questions you may have.

Intramural Basketball

Basketball is beginning next Tuesday. Pick up your schedules at the Intramural board in the cafe.

National Art Honor Society

There is a mandatory meeting regarding the New York trip on Wednesday, MAy 14. All attending the trip MUST attend the meeting.

Free Sports Physicals

Please pick up your application for free sports physicals in the main office. Must be completed and returned to Apple Therapy Services by May 15. They are being held June fifth at Apple Therapy. First come first served.

Seniors

The senior prom bids are 55$ and will be sold May 15th and 16th after school in the library.

NAVY Rep in Caf

There will be a representative from the Navy in the cafe periods D - G on May 20th. Feel free to stop by and ask questions.

Career Exploration Night

Seniors, NHTI-Concord is hosting a Career Exploration Night on Thursday, May 29th from 5:30 to 7pm @ NHTI, 31 College Drive, Concord, NH. This career night is for those interested in Hospitality Management, Travel & Tourism. For more information call (603) 271-6963.

Summer Sessions

New Hampshire Community College/Manchester is advertising a summer session for those interested in working with dogs. All Dogs Gym and NHCTC have joined together to host 2 sessions. Information is available in guidance.

Scholarships

*The VAN & JOANNE CHRISTY Scholarship Fund is now offering a scholarship for students of Greek origin or decent and who have maintained a GPA of at least 3.0. Deadline is 5/31. Please see Guidance for applications. *If there are any seniors with a good GPA and belong to DECA, please see Ms. Croteau for scholarships in Guidance. Must attend college in the fall. *Citizens Bank is announcing a Scholarship Search Info Website that helps students locate scholarships and grants that match their educational level, talents and background. See guidance for information sheet. *Bedford Fire Department now has scholarship applications available at the Bedford Library. Must be a senior at West, plans to attend college and lives in Bedford. *The Phyllis F. Hazen Scholarship Fund is now available in guidance for those male & female senior students who will attend college in the fall. Must be in financial need. CSS Profile is needed. Deadline May 31st. *The Waldo & Alice Ayer Music Scholarship is now available in Guidance for female seniors who are looking to attend college and major in Music. Must show financial need. CSS profile needed. Deadline May 31st. *The Edward Wagner & George Hosser Scholarship Fund is now available in Guidance. Must be a senior male student, a Manchester resident and will pursue a college or professional education. Must show financial need. Need CSS profile. Deadline May 31st. *The Janice T. Berry Nursing Scholarship Fund is now offering a scholarship for any Manchester senior student who will major in nursing in college. See Guidance for application. Must show financial need.
